![]() Megasquirt, Speeduino, AEM, Haltech, Hydra, Adaptronic, Max圎CU, whatever. Don't do this unless you're a masochist like me. ![]() I did it with my MS3pro on my 97 car (non-boosted, at the moment), but it took 2-3 years of tweaking to get it just right and that's not to say that there may still be some conditions that I haven't run into yet where it causes the OBD2 to freak out and requires changes to the tune. This is incredibly tricky to pull off and keep the OBD2/stock ECU happy. Turbo it with aftermarket ECU in a parallel install. I'd go to and to research the pros and cons and get reviews of them to see what might work for you, as well as call the vendor and discuss your options with them. The appeal here is that it's relatively easy and generally keeps the OBD2/stock ECU happy. Better than band-AIDS, but not 100% ideal as you do lack some control and many extra features. You can get "Power cards," "Voodoo box," "XEDE," or whatever from various community vendors. Turbo it with stock ECU and "Band-AIDS" (like rrfpr, timing retard box, O2 clamp).
